Gary Walters
Gary has a great working knowledge of the marketplace, the providers and the nuances of all benefit plans. With his 20+ years of experience in the field he has the knowledge and expertise that our clients need and deserve. Many of the benefit plans that Gary has created have been adopted by many of the major carriers as their new "standard" of benefit delivery. Gary holds the professional designations of:

  • Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU)
  • Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU)
  • Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC)
  • Associate in Claims (AIC)
  • Associate in Risk Management (ARM)


  • Gary has played an active role in a number of community organizations such as:

  • Kinship Partners Mentor
  • Has been a big part of the Kinship Partners success in the lakes area
  • His non-profit organization, Walters Wacky Adventures, has helped raise over $150,000 for the Kinship program.
  • Member of the Brainerd Area Sertoma Club
  • Member of the Brainerd Area Lions Club
  • Awarded the Brainerd Citizen of the year in 2012
  • Elected Crow Wing County Commissioner, 2002-2006
  • A Brainerd area youth sports coach in football, baseball, and hockey

  • Gary was born in Crosby Minnesota, and grew up in the Twin Cities. After graduating from Osseo High School, he attended the University of Minnesota, receiving a B.S. in Economics, along with a minor in Computer Science and Physics. He spent two years in the Marine Corps. He moved back to the Brainerd lakes area in 1991, and was previously employed by State Farm in the early 1990s. Gary started a small insurance firm in 1996, followed by Fiducia Benefits Group in 2000. He is married with four children.
